Directamente de Lisboa, DJ 420@ôa traz-nos o seu segundo EP do ano, desta vez lançado pelo seu Coletivo Lenha. MUSIC IS MY LIFE é não só o nome do EP como da primeira track deste lançamento. Esta dupla de faixas a 138 bpm, foram criadas a partir da mesma sample retirada de "keep it comin’ (dance till you can’t dance no more!)” por C+C Music factory, e apesar de acabadas de lançar já as consideramos um “instant classic”.
A atenção do ouvinte é captada, logo na primeira faixa, com um banger de House, recheado de emoção proveniente da sonoridade de um piano complementado por linhas de acid e kicks repetidos. A segunda faixa, KEEP IT COMIN, surge quase como um edit da primeira, desta vez mais orientada para o break. Nesta versão mais abstracta, reinam a nostalgia e calma dos pads etéreos conjugados com a distorção e batidas frenéticas.

From Lisbon to the world, DJ 420@toa brings to us his second EP of the year, this time launched by his own Colectivo Lenha. MUSIC IS MY LIFE is the name of not only the EP but also the first track in this release.
An instant classic, this 138 bpm track duo were both created using a voice sample taken from the track "keep it comin’ (dance till you can’t dance no more!)” by C+C Music factory,
A House banger which will gather all your attention, the first track of this EP is filled with emotion by using a piano and also some acid lines working together with repeated kicks.
The second track, KEPP IT COMIN, is more break oriented appearing almost as an edit of the previous track. In this track, distortion and ethereal pads reign supreme, while calmness and nostalgia keep switching places with frenetic beats.
